Tips to impact your image

 Its week-end and i thought of writing something light for the week-end reading

Here are some tips to improve your impact at your business environment

As we know that people tend to form their impression within 2-3 minutes of meetings newcomers

They will get the 1st impression by the way you are dressed (clothe), voice, handshake, grooming, facial impression and accent

If you care to create a favorable impression and look  as someone reliable and authoritative

Here are some tips :

-Code of dress varies between business and industries as well as between countries.

·            Dress code in many business has undergone a quite revolution

eg: suit has been replaced by informal wear in some industries

·           -In general some domain like consultancy , banking, accounting and established industries are generally more formal in their dress style most staff wear suit

 -     -Mean while design companies, publishing and the media often favor more casual approach to dress code

So pick clothes carefully, they will contribute to the impression that you make

• Wearing a red shirt for women or red tie for man with dark suit can make you feel more dynamic and you have something to say or add

• While yellow can inspire mental stimulation

•    Neutral colors are very approachable and are particularly suitable if your job is people oriented

• Choose color that are well coordinated and stylish you will look updated and comfortable

• Make sure that you feel confident and relaxed in what you wear

• Allow enough time for grooming :

a)    hair is well cut and well groomed 

b)    clothes are well pressed

c)     ladies wear make-up you will look mature and sophisticated but keep it natural and simple
